Job Description:

Join the KCU College of Biosciences as an Instructor in our Biotechnology track in the Master of Science program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Completely responsible for teaching a lab based course in a Biotechnology track in the Master of Science Program
  • Conduct laboratory exercises with students as well as teach lectures on biomedical science techniques
  • Teaching a lab based course, which includes teaching lectures as part of the responsibility.
  • Ordering supplies and preparation of materials


Qualifications:

  • At least an M.S. in the Biological Sciences required
  • Knowledge and experience in a spectrum of biomedical science lab techniques will be required, including DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, RNA extraction, RT-PCR, qRT-PCR (and use of iCyclers), cloning techniques, DNA sequence analysis, expression vector techniques, transfection, protein extraction, and western blot analysis.
