Minimum Qualifications
A master’s degree in student development, higher education administration, counseling, psychology, sociology, social justice, or other fields related to the delivery of services to a university student population.

Three (3) or more related years of experience; and demonstrated experience of working effectively with meeting the needs of a diverse student population.

Strong written communication skills as demonstrated in the application materials. License/Certification Required Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Supervise one Graduate Assistant (GA) and assist the GA in the daily operations of one of the centers (Multi-Cultural, Women’s, or Henderson Springs LGBTQ+ Centers) including coordinating volunteer staff and center initiatives.

* Co-advise Black Student Association.

* Mentor and advise students from underrepresented populations.

* Coordinate and manage activities, such as monthly cultural awareness observances, activities, and other events.

* Coordinate the annual Multicultural Awards Celebration.

* Coordinate Orientation and Mentoring Program.

* Recruit, train, promote, and coordinate opportunities for student volunteers.

* Oversight of marketing and publicity materials for the office.

* Design, implement and assess diversity training programs for student leaders, residence halls, and student clubs and organizations.

* Serve on committees within student affairs and across the campus community to address issues of diversity and inclusion.

* Collaborate with offices across campus that contributes to the education and development of all students.

* Assist in oversight of the dissemination of resources, activities, and amenities to students through social media, email, electronic bulletin boards, departmental calendar, etc.

* Assist the director in providing front-line support and referral services for all students who contact the office for assistance.

* Assist the Director and Associate Director of Intercultural Student Affairs ( ISA ) with the coordination of the student staff recruitment, selection, and training processes. Other duties as assigned. Suggested Salary Range $48,000 - 51,000 Physical Demands of Position
