Position Summary:

Web Platforms/Services is a group in the Division of Information Technology and is in charge of providing enterprise-scale services that enable the creation of standards-based websites, web applications, and digital experiences. Our services are used across the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the 13-institution University of Wisconsin System, and partner institutions across the country. The work we do is very collaborative, user-centered, and adheres to industry standards and best practices. Our team is looking to add a permanent member to assist in continuing our reputation as a preferred partner and maintain the integrity and high quality of the services we provide.

This position will work as part of a team that is building and transforming our services to use Salesforce. This individual will help to implement new self-service/self-help digital experiences using Salesforce Experience Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud. You will work as part of a team to develop user interfaces and functionality based on user-centered design and research data. This individual will also work as part of our Interoperability Transformation Initiative.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required
* 3+ years of experience with user-centered design and best practices (7+ years experience for a senior position)
* 1+ years experience working with a Digital Experience Platform/CRM like Salesforce, Digital Measures, SiteCore, etc.
* 3+ years experience with front-end technologies and frameworks
* 3+ years experience with Digital Accessibility design and development standards and best practices (WCAG 2.+)
* 2+ years experience using and developing API's to connect data across multiple systems
* 2+ years experience with Agile development methodologies
* 2+ years experience with large-scale testing processes and techniques

Preferred
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work as part of an agile team and be self directed
* Understanding of change management best practices
* Relationship management or strong customer service experience
* Ability to participate in Stakeholder meetings and asses needs
* Strong organizational skills
* Project management interests

At current state, the Web Platforms/Services group is working 100% remotely. We will operate in a hybrid model beginning in Fall 2021. This position is eligible for any of the following: 100% remote work; partial remote-work; or fully on-site. Remote work requires successful candidates to possess their own high-speed internet and phone to perform the work on an employer provided computer and to on occasion, report to campus for meetings, training, or other activities
