Two current opportunities are slated for fall 2021, one in digital game art, and one in our course in games, history, and society. The art course is intended to teach students the basics of making 2D art and animations for use in their game creations and has typically utilized the Adobe creative suite as a software platform, importing art and materials into the Unity game engine. The course on games, history, and society is a core course in our MA and MFA programs, and is an introduction to the academic study of games, play, and their role in society, and lays the foundation for using games for impact.
