ODUOnline is seeking candidates for the Online Business Analyst
and Project Coordinator (full-time, 12 month) position. This
position will work with the AVP and others in the Planning and
Development unit and across the organization to provide market
analysis and project management support for new partners and
practices. This position will support the partnership development
activities by collaborating with our Senior Market Research Analyst
to compile and analyze data on student segments, competitors and
various markets and prepare summative reports with actionable items
for this team. Working with leadership, this position will
also help interpret business needs and work-flow implications to
inform the application and operational requirements of new
initiatives and will oversee the adoption of tools and approaches
in order to meet the needs of the organization and improve the
support services provided to partners, faculty and students.
Required Education: Master’s degree in business,
marketing, statistics, or similar area OR a bachelor’s degree, in
the same fields of study, with equivalent related experience to
equate to a master’s degree may be substituted.
Required Qualifications: Considerable experience
in maintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with
project teams. Considerable experience developing strategies and
specifications for projects. Working experience providing effective
market research analysis. Working experience with collecting data
on consumers, prospective partners, competitors, and marketplaces
and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and
presentations. Working experience managing multiple complex
projects simultaneously and bring about the successful completion
of specific project goals and objectives. Working experience in
effectively monitoring and communicating project status, tasks and
timelines to all stakeholders (written/oral). Some knowledge of
principles, practices, and processes used to interpret a variety of
information, in many forms, related to marketing and business needs
and the ability to extrapolate from them to form a cohesive
strategy for achieving established goals and formulating new
objectives. Some knowledge of accepted practices in planning,
organizing, and managing information, people, and work efforts to
bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and
objectives. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong
attention to detail (written/oral). Ability to work independently
and to be self-directed. Demonstrated ability to effectively
multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Considerable experience
working in a higher education setting. Some experience with
distance learning/online learning. Some experience supporting
business/partner development projects.
Conditions of Employment: This position is fully
remote and does not require an on-campus presence.
