West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are recruiting two neurologists to provide inpatient and/or outpatient care for Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV and at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV, with an academic appointment of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

Reynolds Memorial Hospital is a nonproft, acute-care community hospital is located in Glen Dale, WV. We are governed by a 25-member volunteer board of directors and licensed for 90-beds and a 20-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. We are proud to have been recently rated the SAFEST hospital in Marshall, Ohio and Belmont counties by Consumer Reports. We were also ranked the 3rd best hospital in the state of West Virginia for having the least amount of hospital-acquired conditions based on Medicare data. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of neurology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a Neurology residency program and must be board certified / eligible in Neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.
