The College of Health Professions Department of Health Administration is seeking an adjunct faculty to teach the HADM 683 course – Executive Skills II. The subject matter covered in HADM 683 helps students develop and build executive leadership competencies that our alumni/ae, administrative residency preceptors, and faculty agree are critical in preparing students for leadership positions in healthcare organizations. Among the full set of 25 core competencies for which the MHA Program is designed and accredited by CAHME to prepare students for the workforce, the specific competencies that these courses help develop are listed below:

• Interpersonal Communication
• Writing Skills
• Presentation Skills
• Ability for Honest Self-Assessment
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
• Personal and Professional Ethics

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Administration or Business
• Minimum of 10 years in Health Administration leadership/management positions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Administrative Residency or Fellowship Preceptor
• Minimum of 10 years in Health Administration leadership/management positions
• Certified Executive Coach
