Lecturer I / II (PR0005/21-22)
The appointee is expected to teach courses in the following areas:
renewable and non-renewable energy sources, energy management,
energy usage and environment, carbon auditing, and energy storage
and distribution. He/She will also need to fulfill some
administrative duties related to curriculum design, programme
development and promotion, supervision of student projects,
internship and student affairs.
Applicants should have a PhD degree in Energy Science and
Engineering, or related disciplines, preferably with two to three
years of teaching or postdoctoral experience. Research experience
will be very useful. Applicants with less qualifications and/or
experience will be considered for the post of Lecturer II.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract up to
two years starting on or after 1 January 2022. Re-appointment
thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience.
