Job Summary:
The Department of Chemistry at the University of San Francisco invites applications for a three-year non-renewable full-time term Assistant Professor position for the 2021-2024 academic years, to begin in August 2021, contingent upon funding approval. This position seeks candidates who can teach analytical, inorganic and general chemistry courses.

Full Job Description:

Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach a combination of lecture and lab for the following courses: Analytical, Inorganic, and General Chemistry I and II. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in service to the department and college. Additional teaching responsibilities may replace service expectations. The overall workload will correspond to four 4-unit courses or three 4-unit courses and 4 units of service per semester.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field by August 2021. A strong record of teaching at the university level and an understanding of and commitment to support the mission of the University of San Francisco are required.
