The Economics Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor to teach intermediate macroeconomics and other courses in the undergraduate program. We are especially interested in someone with the experience and excitement to effectively lead a large lecture section of intermediate macroeconomics each semester, along with smaller sections of elective courses that fulfill the economics major. This is a 9-month position over a 1-year fixed term with the possibility of renewal that requires teaching three undergraduate courses per academic semester for a total of six courses during the academic year. The Department of Economics is within the College of Arts and Sciences. It confers BA, BS, MA and Ph.D. degrees. The department currently has a full-time faculty of 35 and an enrollment of about 1,200 undergraduate majors and 70 doctoral students. For more information, see https://econ.unc.edu.
