The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking a
Research Specialist to join Dr. Nork's Laboratory. Dr. Nork's lab
investigates animal models of eye disorders. The lab routinely does
both histopathological (light and electron microscopy) as well as
functional (visual electrophysiology) studies. This is a unique
opportunity to work with laboratory animals of various species
including monkey, rabbit and rodent.
This position will perform benchwork duties and will be working
with animals in Dr. Nork's Research Lab in the Department of
Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.

Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related field
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
- At least 1 year experience in a laboratory and/or working with
research animals preferred
