Description
Position:
Olympic College is recruiting for adjunct faculty to teach our Class Piano course. This class has up to 15 students – each on their own electric keyboard and headset – that play during the class with the faculty member utilizing a headset and control panel to listen and guide individuals, small groups, or the entire class. Part-Time faculty teach one to two classes in a quarter as enrollment in classes demands. Faculty are required to provide quality teaching including related preparation, grading, and record-keeping; class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the division office as requested. Olympic College seeks applicants who are dedicated to student-centered learning, closing achievement gaps, support diversity, and social justice learning opportunities, and who employ data-informed decision making in their instruction. The Social Science and Humanities Division is seeking persons who can teach through face-to-face instruction but can shift to online should circumstances warrant.

Salary:
Per Olympic College Board of Trustees approved salary schedule based on education and
qualified experience.
