Oversees and monitors administrative procedures and practices
employed in the campus admissions office. Supervises
professional and support staff in implementing the university's
enrollment management goals and objectives. Coordinates and
performs all aspects of admissions including, but not limited to,
recruitment, reviewing applications for admission including
interviewing applicants and overall credential evaluation, events
management, oversight of the campus' visit program, greeting
guests/delivering information session presentations, and
undertaking yield activities to convert admitted students to
enrollments. The Associate Director will provide
leadership to professional and support staff for the university's
recruitment and prospect management plan as set forth by the Vice
President for Enrollment Management. Reporting to the
University Director of Undergraduate Admissions, collaborates on
completion of Admissions Annual Reports and Planning
Documents. Represents the Director in various meetings in
his/her absence. The incumbent will serve as liaison to
various offices on campus, as well as represent the university at
off-campus recruitment events. Identifies and maintains
partnerships with high school guidance counselors, transfer
advisors at community colleges, alumni and others. Completes
a wide variety of admissions and enrollment management projects as
assigned by the Director.
