The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invites applicants for a Postdoctoral Scholar position. The Postdoctoral Scholar will receive competitive salary and benefits, and conduct research under the close mentorship of prominent faculty in various areas of statistical methodology and applications.
The position will also offer ample opportunity to interact with Penn State's world-class faculty, postdocs and graduate students in various interdisciplinary and interdepartmental programs. At the time they join the department, the successful candidate will hold a PhD in Statistics or closely related field and will receive an initial appointment of one year which could begin as early as July 2021. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with the possibility of re-funding.
