The Providence College Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for two adjunct instructors for fall semester 2021. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to and/or experience with engaging diverse students in the classroom and be able to foster an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere among students. Essential Duties
The Sociology instructor will teach two Introductory Sociology Courses that will meet in-person MWF from 1:30-2:20 and 2:30-3:20. The Anthropology instructor will teach in-person Introduction to Socio-Cultural Anthropology from 8:30-9:20 TWF and Ethnographic Research Methods from 10:30-11:20 TWF . Education and Experience Required
Applicants possess a Ph.D. in Sociology or Anthropology or have advanced standing in a Ph.D. program.
