JOB DESCRIPTION

The English Department in the Shaheen College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Indianapolis invites applicants for an associate adjunct instructor to teach 18–21 credits per year. The successful applicant will teach composition and general education literature courses, including courses designated for students in the University’s BUILD program (learn more about that program at http://www.uindy.edu/ssd/build ).

Applicants must have an MA or PhD in English (or closely related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate coursework in English), and experience teaching English composition and/or literature at the college level.

This is a one-year, renewable appointment.
