Program Center Manager, Lansing

Northwood University seeks a highly qualified candidate to serve as Program Center Manager for our Lansing Program Center.

Responsibilities of this position include overseeing the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the Lansing Program Center which entails operating as point of primary contact in the coordination of our partners at Lansing Community College and Lansing-region students, providing students with timely academic advising for undergraduate programs from admission to graduation. The position also includes assistance with student-specific issues regarding academics, financial aid and the business office. A high priority is focused efforts to retain current students. Work with program center to coordinate scheduling and set-up of classrooms, identify and recommend policy and process improvements, and assist in development of annual course calendar.

The Program Center Manager should possess a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing or related area preferred); have strong computer and leadership skills; be goal oriented; have excellent written and oral communications skills that will transcend diverse audiences; be a self-starter with exceptional interpersonal communication, possess excellent networking and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work well in a true team environment. Three years of experience in higher education is preferred. Previous admissions and work with military students are desirable.
