Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon (76573)

The University of Florida Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is currently recruiting for a board certified or board eligible Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our dynamic team. The University has recently partnered with the Shriner’s Hospital for Children to develop a comprehensive pediatric orthopedic program in north central Florida. This full-time faculty position is available on a non-tenure accruing track at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor. Responsibilities include patient care, teaching and research. Outstanding academic and research support are provided.

Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.

Applicants must have completed an Orthopaedic Residency and one year or more in a Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship. Must be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License. The successful finalist would ideally have a subspecialty interest in pediatric lower extremity conditions, pediatric sports, trauma and/or neuromuscular diseases in addition to general pediatrics.
