Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities
The purpose of the Medical Education Coordinator – Longitudinal Curriculums is to provide administrative oversight of three longitudinal curriculums: Ultrasound, Patient, Physician and Society, and Population Health and Evidence-Based Medicine. The curriculums span all four years of medical school. In addition, the position provides support to the M3 Telehealth course.

General responsibilities include: Serve as liaison between Course Directors, SIM Center staff, Instructors, and Students; Schedule all rooms, spaces, equipment and standardized patients as required for each course; Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, course information and faculty availability; Coordinate all student and faculty schedules for each course; Serve as an integral member of the Medical Education team

All courses require a high degree of schedule coordination, faculty/student communication, and departmental collaboration. Minimum Hiring Standards
Bachelor’s Degree
High level of maturity, judgment and a proven record in an academic or related field is essential.
Demonstrated strong communication (spoken, written, & proofreading) and organizational skills.
Demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems, Office Suite, G-suite products (or similar).
Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and engage in effective problem solving.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, and complete a dynamic task list is required.
Must be precise, thorough, and reliable and perform daily activities with minimal supervision.
Highly developed organization skills are required along with a confirmed ability to maintain confidentiality and pay attention to details.
Experience working in a direct university / student support role
Ability to work in a diverse environment required. Preferred Hiring Standards
Experience in medical education preferred.
2-3 years’ experience with student clinical scheduling.
