Job Summary

The coordinator of experiential learning is responsible for coordinating all internal and external experiential learning opportunities for students within the College of Science, Technology, and Health. This position works in conjunction with other college personnel to facilitate engaging and dynamic learning opportunities.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. Job Responsibilities and Execution

  • Develops and maintains college website for advertising experiential learning opportunities to include internships, practicum and study abroad
  • Contributes to social media presence to promote opportunities for clinical and experiential learning, providing oversight for the production of relevant content for publication
  • Conducts market research and outreach to engage potential partners
  • Plans, communicates, and reports on potential experiential learning opportunities
  • Establishes systematic means for evaluation of learning opportunities


Service Excellence

  • Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
  • Models, supports and holds others accountable to the university’s values – integrity, dedication, excellence, creativity and teamwork


Communication, Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Collaborates with the Center of Experience Learning and College personnel to develop and maintain website materials
  • Communicates with area high schools and community colleges and participates in recruiting events to market College faculty and programs


Job may require other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior relevant experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Efficient use of software platforms related to developing online and print content
  • Exemplary customer service skills


Work Environment – Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of this job’s functions.
