Doane University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication with expertise in Video Production and Digital Media for the 2021-22 academic year. A Ph.D. is preferred, ABD or M.A. with significant professional experience may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in both broadcast and video production. The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for the teach-out of the Film and Media Production major, which includes intermediate and advanced courses. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts setting.

The Communication Department at Doane currently offers majors in Strategic Communication, Media Communication, and Film and Media Production. The department is in the process of reimagining our offerings and student needs.
