Job Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, this position will serve as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for 16 intercollegiate sports in addition to providing oversight for all activities associated with the daily operations of the campus fitness centers.   The Assistant Football Coach (Running Backs) will assist the Head Football Coach with maintaining an NCAA Division III football program.

Strength and Conditioning Duties:

  • Coordination with head coaches to design, implement and supervise the strength and conditioning programs for all intercollegiate athletic varsity teams;
  • Daily operation of the Fitness Center and services provided to faculty, staff, and students;
  • Teaches in accordance with the assigned load during the academic year;
  • Coordinates with the Head Athletic Trainer in assisting with the rehabilitation programs of student-athletes;
  • Oversee strength and conditioning facility cleanliness, equipment maintenance and, purchase schedule;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Assistant Football Coach (Running Backs) Duties:

  • Direct, supervise, and instruct Running Backs on the fundamentals, details, and strategies;
  • Recruit prospective student-athletes;
  • Monitor academic performance of student-athletes;
  • Game management responsibilities out of season;
  • General administrative duties;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Managerial and Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversee student employees within the athletic department.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or a related field, required;
  • Master's Degree in a related field, required;
  • Current CSCS Certification, required;
  • Valid Driver's License, required;
  • One year of college football coaching experience, required;
  • Knowledge and understanding of NCAA Division III rules and regulations, required;
  • First Aid and CPR certification, required;
  • COVID-19 Vaccination, required.
