The Department of Psychological Sciences seeks applicants for non-tenure track faculty position for academic year 2021-2022 beginning August 1, 2021, and ending May 9, 2022.  Faculty rank is Lecturer. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and participating in service at the department level.

The Department of Psychological Science is housed in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The department offers a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Sciences degree in psychology. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching 15 credits per semester (5 classes) and participating in departmental service as assigned.  Course modality may be all online courses or a mix of face-to-face and online classes.

  • Master’s degree at the time of appointment in psychology;
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning;
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant’s career stage;
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting;
  • A record of mentoring students of diverse backgrounds.
