Ensworth School in Nashville is a kindergarten through twelfth grade, coeducational independent school serving approximately 1,170 students. The School — housed on two campuses, one for Lower and Middle Schools and one for the High School — was founded in the 1950s and has grown steadily over the years to become one of the region’s most respected independent schools.

Ensworth seeks a dynamic leader as its next—and eighth—Head of School starting July 2022. The successful candidate will be an experienced educational leader devoted to the School’s Mission, Vision, and programs. 

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Head of School serves as Ensworth’s chief executive officer, overseeing all aspects of leading and managing the School.
