Position Summary

Temporary, “non-exempt”, non-benefited position through June 30, 2022 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance). 1 position available.

Salary:

$22.00-$24.00/Hour

Department Summary:

The Institute for Research, Assessment & Professional Development at California State University San Bernardino is seeking to hire a Neurofeedback Clinician to support our growing Neurofeedback practice. Our mission is to help adults and children in the Inland Empire region live healthier quality lives. We specialize in treating ADD/ADHD, anxiety, autistic spectrum disorders, depression, conduct disorder, PTSD, migraines/pain management, reading difficulties and other limiting conditions.

Work Schedule

Up to 19 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm though some nights, weekend work may be required.

This position will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed beginning June 18, 2021.


Typical Activities

Under minimal supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Neurofeedback Clinician will work independently to:

Administers EEG guided neurofeedback brain training / cognitive rehabilitation. Keeps track of patient's changes in medication use. Tracks, charts, and monitors patient's training sessions and symptomatic progress. Reviews patient progress and training effectiveness with Institute Director.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: MA/MS in rehabilitation counseling, education, psychology, sociology, human services, or closely related field
  • Experience: Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of conditions/challenges.
  • Other: Strong listening skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong interpersonal relationship, facilitation, and service management skills; An understanding of neurophysiology and neuroanatomy; Understanding of or experience with EEG guided neurofeedback brain training

  • Preferred Qualifications

    MA/MS in rehabilitation counseling, human services, or closely related fields.
