Assistant Professor of Technology

Assistant Professor of Technology with New York University (New York, NY). Teach in the Department of Technology, Operations, and Statistics at the Stern School of Business. Teach classes in Database Systems and Information Technology in Business and Society. Requires Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Business and Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field. Requires at least four (4) months (equivalent to one semester full-time or two semesters part-time) of university-level teaching experience in information systems or database management systems. Teaching experience must include database management systems (DBMS), data mining, data science, data models, query processing, and data warehouses, and the application of data science techniques in the development of business information systems. Must have an active research program and record of scholarship in the areas of technology, operations, and statistics including research in applications of machine learning, data science, and econometrics to issues involving business and technology.
