The Rhetoric and Composition Department at Oberlin College invites applications for a non-continuing faculty position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Composition.

The incumbent will teach a total of three full courses in the Fall semester, including two 100-level Rhetoric courses that focus on writing and one First-Year Seminar. Course topics and pedagogical approaches will be determined in consultation with department members in Rhetoric and with faculty committee members in the First-Year Seminar Program.

Among the qualifications required for appointment is MPhil or the Ph.D. Candidates must demonstrate interest and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching. Successful teaching experience at the college level is required.
