This is a full-time administrative exempt position. The Director of Program Development and Worker Retraining has primary responsibility for the identification, development and advancement of new and existing Professional Technical programs. The Director follows established process, guidelines and works in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders toward the goal of effectively meeting workforce preparation needs in Kitsap and Mason counties. The coordination of WFD&BS outreach activities to include the development of related materials is an essential function of the position. The incumbent also administers and provides oversight of the Worker Retraining program, Continuing Education Program, and customized training contracts. The incumbent is also responsible for developing and sustaining relationships with community leaders, organizations, and business leaders to promote Olympic College (OC) and to generate support for college programs.
