The Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy Department invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-eligible faculty position at the rank of AST/ASO/Full Professor.

Duties in this position will include: development of a competitive, federally-funded research program with a particular emphasis on Pharmacoeconomics and related outcomes research; a successful track-record in mentoring graduate and/or postdoctoral students; a commitment to teaching in the professional and graduate programs; serving on College and/or University Committees; and active involvement in professional organizations and associated meetings. A special teaching and service component will include contributions to our Department’s Online MS Program, which will include directorship for its Applied Pharmacoeconomics track. Specific assignments in each category will be made by your department chair.

The successful candidate may also be associated with Centers or Consortia in the College, such as the Center for Drug Evaluation and Safety or CoDES ( https://codes.pharmacy.ufl.edu ) and the Center for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology (cpsp.pharmacy.ufl.edu). Additionally, the College is closely partnered with Centers, Institutes, and laboratories at UF, including the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (ctsi.ufl.edu).

The applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., Pharm.D.) with formal post-doctoral research training (or equivalent experience).

Excellent communication skills are essential.
