Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology

Will serve as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, as a pediatric cardiac care specialist at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, providing care to the pediatric cardiology patient population, participating in the teaching activities of the department for medical students, residents and fellows and engaging in clinical or quality-related research. Will travel once every quarter to Children’s Medical Services at South Georgia Medical Center, 2409 North Patterson Street, Suite 310, Valdosta, Georgia 31605 (Lowndes County); Each of 4 annual trips as follows: Tuesday– Travel Day; Wednesday – 8-4:30PM clinic; Thursday – 8-4:30PM clinic; Friday– 8-12PM clinic and then travel back to Augusta.

Requires MD Degree or foreign equivalent with ECFMG certification. Candidate must have successfully completed 48 months of training (including 36 months of pediatric residency as well as 12 months of pediatric cardiology), must be eligible for a Georgia Medical license, and be Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
