Job Summary:         

The International Admission will assist with the marketing, recruitment, and enrollment of traditional international undergraduate students, Florence, Italy bachelor degree students and freshmen year abroad programs. Support virtual programming initiatives for all undergraduate markets.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-3 years relevant work experience required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding or experience with international programs (study abroad, travel, etc.) 

Essential Functions:

  • Independently manage geographic territory by analyzing multiple data sources to develop and create an extensive travel, virtual recruitment, communication and outreach plan to drive new student enrollment in support of the strategic goals of the college.
  • Review and make admission decisions on traditional undergraduate applications to Marist. Thoroughly evaluate student credentials and personal qualities. Serve as a member of the Admission and Scholarship Committee which renders final admission and merit award decisions for all applicants.
  • Conduct information sessions and college fairs/nights (both virtually and in person), meeting with prospective students and their families. Prepare and revise presentations as needed to ensure appropriate information for audience (e.g., general, specific academic area, honor program.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails that come through the Marist Admission Office from prospective international students and their families. Provide guidance to students, parents, and school counselors.
  • Assist in managing Admission Office student workers, by providing them with oversight, direction, and scheduling of tasks.
  • Work closely in the enrollment of the first year abroad programs.
  • Co-lead a project (coordinating all virtual programs) which primarily works with internal admission personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
