St. Lawrence University’s Department of Performance and Communication Arts invites applications for a one-year, full time appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Communication, beginning August 2021. The successful candidate will teach entry-level courses such as Public Speaking and Introduction to Communication Studies, as well as upper-level rhetoric/communication studies courses in their area of expertise. Teaching load is 3 courses per semester. Preference will be given to candidates who can document a record of excellence in teaching undergraduate students and who successfully address issues of difference in their teaching. Candidates with Ph.D. in hand preferred, but ABD candidates may be considered.
