Purdue University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy is seeking Continuing Lecturers. The successful candidates will teach calculus and algebra based introductory physics courses at the freshman and sophomore level. The candidate will also work with staff, TAs, assist in coordinating courses and carrying out instructional goals. Start date is August 16, 2021. Starting academic-year salary is in the $54,000 to $61,000 range, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications: Candidates must have M.S. (or equivalent) in physics or in closely related areas. Two years of experience in physics teaching at the junior college or university level desired.
