Position Summary:

The Marketing Program Director teaches 3-4 marketing courses (9-12 credits), which may include marketing strategy, digital marketing, marketing channels, careers in marketing, and experiential learning/practicum courses.

In addition to teaching, this position leads the development and implementation of the Marketing Department's undergraduate "Career Forward" program in partnership with the Career and Employer Engagement Team. This position supports the professional development of 800+ undergraduate marketing students and serves as a key conduit to industry partners. The Marketing Program Director works on multiple initiatives in support of this objective including employer development, curricular programming and administration, and communications.

This position reports to the Marketing Department Chair and works closely with department faculty and staff, academic specialist, assessment director, and members of the Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) academic and career advising teams.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Master's degree required; emphasis in marketing or related field preferred

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in marketing or related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, high level of professionalism and commitment to support student initiatives. We seek candidates with excellent organizational, administrative, presentation, time management skills, and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusivity.
