Vacancy Number: S-00737 Position Title: Program Associate Classification Title: Program Associate Department: Registrar's Office Employment Type: Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs various clerical duties, which support in the presentation and operation of the Registrar’s Office. Process grade changes and adjustments, major changes, student loan deferment paperwork, and other student information changes. Assist with registration, withdrawls, and graduation processing. Receive office visitors and answer telephone calls. Provide students and other visitors with registration or related issues. Orders departmental supplies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic word processing software and other related-software, such as Sungard HE Banner Student Knowledge of scope, guidelines, and operation of the Registrar’s Office Knowledge of registration forms, rules, etc. Knowledge of record-keeping procedures Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills Proofreading skills Problem solving skills Ability to perform basic mathematical computations Ability to respond to several demands at one time Ability to maintain records Ability to coordinate the work of others Ability to provide information and assistance to assigned staff and customers Ability to give attention to detail Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of general office experience. Experience working in higher education with student information system, preferably Sungard HE Banner Student, is preferred.
