The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University, with campus locations in Manhattan and Pleasantville, invites applications for a one-year non-tenure track Clinical Lecturer to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both the Computer Science and Information Technology Departments, including introductory courses in computing. Candidates must have the ability and willingness to teach courses in both departments and both campuses. The position also requires work on assessment and curriculum design.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral candidate or a candidate who already has a doctoral degree in a related field is preferable. Experience in some of the following areas is particularly desirable: Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Human-Centered Design / UIUX, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Telecommunications, Project Management.
  • Prior university-level teaching experience is highly desirable with demonstrated success in both traditional classroom and online teaching pedagogies.
  • A successful candidate should have strong communication skills and willingness to work as a team.
