Job Description:

The Admissions Records Coordinator supports the Admissions operation, using the Slate (CRM) and the college database (Colleague). This position organizes and reviews applicant materials, electronic data and student records and ensures the accuracy of data entered. Processes correspondence, including handling of returned mail. The coordinator assists with the training of student workers and contributes as one of the SEVIS DSO's with document validation.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain accurate applicant data and records in Slate and Colleague from the prospect through enrollment stages;
  • Timely and efficient input of application credentials;
  • Process student accept packets;
  • Keep student records up to date as student applicant and enrollment data changes;
  • Correspond by phone and email with students, families and school counselors to assist with completing required application materials;
  • Input data generated from various sources such as lead cards, test scores, phone
  • inquiries, emails, unlinked ISIRS and NCOA files;
  • Handle data collection and preparation of materials for on campus events;
  • Assist in the training and support of work-study students, ensuring accuracy;
  • Run and process daily queries in Slate;
  • Daily drop-off/pick-up, recording and distribution of office mail;
  • Serve in rotation as back-up to front desk for daily phone support and other administrative duties;
  • Support admissions office staff with ongoing projects and activities;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Managerial and Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee student office assistants


  • Associates Degree, required;
  • Bachelors Degree, preferred;
  • COVID-19 Vaccination, required;
  • 2-3 years of related experience, required;
  • Experience working in academia, preferred;
  • Excellent keyboarding skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.);
  • Attention to detail;
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team;
  • Ability to work independently.
