About the Opportunity:
Khoury College of Computer Sciences is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead research in adversarial machine learning and cyber security.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:

Designs and implements attacks against machine learning used for cyber security and other applications and creates robust machine learning systems.

Participates in engagements with funding agencies and industry collaborators to demonstrate the practical applicability of the developed techniques. Interacts with sponsoring agencies and external university collaborators.

Participates in research projects in a team with graduate and undergraduate students and helps mentor students.

Solves cutting-edge research problems, produces innovating results, leads paper writing, and delivers presentations in conferences and seminars.

Qualifications:
General system security and threat modeling skills. Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques. Knowledge of techniques in adversarial machine learning. Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar.
