Director of Ticket Operations

Job Responsibilities:

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is seeking a Director of Ticketing Operations in the Department of Athletics. Under limited supervision by the Associate Athletic Director for External Operations, the Director of Ticketing Operations will be responsible for the management of the ticket office as all aspects of customer service related to the daily sale of tickets and membership assistance. Collaborates with Marketing & Promotions Department on advertising strategies and database marketing efforts.

Assists Corporate Sales & Sponsorships with fulfillment of sponsorships that include ticket packages, assist in renewal process for ticketed sports and provide accurate and detailed reporting of all ticket sales results on a timely basis. Conduct research and best practices regarding ticket operations, and assist with design and development of all ticket sales materials (ticket brochures, renewal letters and mailings etc.) and sales content on website. Responsible for ordering of materials necessary for ticket operations including ticket stock, roll tickets, will call envelopes, etc.

Schedule and manage game day ticket sellers, create master ticket office operations plan and activities schedule, provide service during game days (football, basketball and baseball) and at other athletic events as needed, and assist with inbound calls.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree. Basic proficiency with computers and MS Office programs. Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Familiarity with and have a strong passion for collegiate sports. Experience utilizing module trainings. Previous experience with guidelines about confidentiality of data and NCAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with OvationTix Ticketing Software.
