Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

This position will be responsible for creating custom reports for early alerts and nudges, tracking data, drafting communications, frontloading the IntelliResponse Software and maintaining the College's website, and coordinating efforts with LSC Public Relations and Marketing Communications. This position will be trained in PowerBI, Civitas and other data analytical software. This is a grant-funded position, Continuation of the position from one academic year to the next is contingent up continued grant funding.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Facilitate daily operations of data and marketing for Title III. Maintain records. Maintain current knowledge base of assigned area and acts as a point of contact for internal and external customers
  2. Responsible for creating custom reports for early alerts and nudges
  3. Coordinate with the graphic designers to create campus marketing materials and keep records of all print advertising; and assist with the creation of new marketing initiatives and assist in creating a marketing plan in order to meet the changing needs of the college and centers as well as using design programs to create and update marketing materials
  4. May make presentations at various levels both internally and externally
  5. Responsible for compliance with policies, procedures and a variety of local, state and federal regulations. Makes and communicates process decisions based on best practices
  6. Coordinates various department and management calendars and schedules. Assists with planning, schedules and coordinates various meetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support
  7. Assists with entering and tracking the department budget
  8. Takes part in special projects as needed
  9. Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.



WORK SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS :
  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate’s degree and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must provide a portfolio, demonstration or samples of recent work representative of your ability to create graphics, flyers, and marketing materials
Salary

Hiring salary range is $37,270 - $42,861.

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
