Position Summary:

The Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking an individual, who wants to help students, in a Department that wants to grow. This position will be part of a team that desires to provide students the best academic experiences and graduation outcomes.This person will be a player in the Department's advising, recruitment, admissions, and administration processes. This position demands collaboration with advisors, faculty, and pertinent people throughout the University.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Experience with advising or counseling preferred.

Experience, or the ability to obtain proficiently, in an Advisor Note system, Lumen, Guide, and Student Information System is required.

An understanding, or the ability to obtain an understanding, of how a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or Nutritional Sciences, will benefit and provide career possibilities for actual and prospective students.

The knowledge, or the ability to obtain an understanding, of what a Registered Dietitian is, the requirements to become and maintain being a Registered Dietitian, and what the benefits of being a Registered Dietitian are.

Additional Information:

The ability to value, empower, and respect everyone is required.

Title prefix is dependent on relevant work experience.
