Purpose of Position

The Department of Communication at Northern Kentucky University is seeking adjunct instructors with experience teaching the basic course.

Primary Responsibilities

Successful candidates are expected to teach one section of JOU 450 (Media Skills) for the Fall 2021 Semester, which begins Aug. 23, 2021.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
MA in Communication Studies by start of fall semester (or Master’s Degree with at least 18 hours in
Communication). Demonstrated potential for effective teaching at the University level appropriate to
assignment. Commitment to teaching a diverse student population.

Desired Qualifications:
PhD in communication or related field.
