Job Summary
The Tech I, Lab provides assistance with preparation and execution for the four culinary laboratory courses and two teaching restaurant laboratory courses that exist on the Hospitality Management curriculum. This is a part-time, 20 hour per week position.
Essential Functions
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
• Receives, handles, and prepares food and beverage requisitions for the culinary and beverage laboratory classes
• Maintains the culinary and beverage laboratories at a safe and clean standard and ensures that laboratory stocks of raw materials and laboratory supplies are kept at adequate levels
• Supports culinary and beverage instructors in laboratory classes
• Operates and cleans the culinary and beverage equipment in laboratories
