The Department of Leadership, Policy and Organizations is seeking applicants for a Lecturer (non-tenure track) faculty position to provide instruction and support for the online, professional doctorate in Leadership and Learning in Organizations. Candidates are sought to teach multiple sections in the Leadership and Organizational Development strand of the program, which includes, but is not limited to: Organizational Theory and Behavior, Public Policy and Administration, Leadership Theory and Practice, and Economics of Human Resources. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in a field such as Organizational Development and Theory or Leadership Studies. Background or experience in teaching professional degree students, including at the professional doctoral-level or MBA students is critical, and online teaching experience is preferred. Candidates are expected to have excellent teaching credentials. Candidates also should be prepared to teach students from diverse professional backgrounds. Experience supervising capstones or dissertations is desirable. This is an opportunity to join a highly productive, diverse and interdisciplinary faculty and to be part of a premier, innovative online program. The mission of the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations (LPO) is to understand and enhance the political, economic, organizational, and social contexts in which human learning takes place. The department offers professional graduate programs in leadership and organizational performance, education policy, international education policy and management, higher education administration, and independent school leadership, as well as undergraduate tracks in leadership and organizational effectiveness, education policy, and international education.
