Overview

The Center for Career Development is seeking an innovative professional to provide individual career advising for undergraduate students and assist with career-related programming.

The individual will advise undergraduates based on a career advising philosophy that aligns with and leverages the core tenets of a liberal arts education and our program model focused on self-exploration and life-long career management. This holistic model involves both one-on-one advising and an educational/curricular framework that helps students to define a personally meaningful vision and connects them in multi-dimensional ways to the resources, people, organizations, and opportunities that will help make their unique visions a reality. Additionally, the assistant director will collaborate with colleagues in program development and implementation for various undergraduate students. This position requires a background and strong interest in helping students who are at the beginning of their career development trajectories, and the ability to guide students through a process of self-assessment, exploration, and reflection.

This position does not offer remote work possibilities.
