About the Opportunity:
The Associate Director for Spiritual Life/CSDS will advance the mission of the University with a focus on project management. They will service and support international students with attention to their unique spiritual/cultural/wellness/adjustment needs while expanding outreach and connections across the Global Campus Network.

Responsibilities:
They will design and implement programs of global experiential learning, cultural and religious literacy, student leadership development, diversity/equity/inclusion, and mindfulness/wellness. They will take significant leadership in three interrelated areas: project management, communications, and operations management. They will focus on the diverse needs of students across the global Northeastern network, while advancing Northeastern's mission as a global leader in innovative research and experiential education, with a special focus on NU 2025 and academic/student affairs partnerships, interfaith/cross-cultural understanding and collaboration, and new diversity/equity/inclusion efforts.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or a related field. The position requires knowledge of and demonstrated skills in serving the needs of international students from historically underrepresented global religions (e.g. Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhist, humanism); demonstrated ability to innovate remote learning experiences across a global network, including utilizing graphic design skills in designing and teaching culturally appropriate wellness/mindfulness curricula and engaging local and global religious/cultural communities; excellent administrative skills; attention to detail; initiative; strategic thinking and planning skills; creative program development skills; student leadership development skills; oral, written, presentational, and interpersonal communication skills; skills in working with religiously and culturally diverse communities on and off-campus (including communities of color, new immigrant communities; LGBTQ+ communities, etc.); the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, administrators, students, and local and global University partners at all levels; a student-centered philosophy of education; a commitment to nonviolent conflict resolution, pluralism, and interfaith/cross-cultural understanding and cooperation.

Other helpful skills include: social media outreach skills, budget management, community development, mediation/negotiation/conflict resolution skills, and the ability to effectively supervise students and volunteers. The appropriate candidate may help provide pastoral services/chaplaincy functions to one or more student communities.
