Job Description

Description:

The Coordinator of Digital Media under general supervision, produces original graphics and print collateral, creates engaging and storytelling videos, digital graphics, web and social media content, and photos to support the brand, communications, and marketing functions for the department of athletics.

Responsibilities:

Videography:
  • Create videos to highlight, recap, and promote various sports, endeavors, and events.
  • Produce and create television commercials to create exposure for the department and its student-athletes.
  • Oversee all aspects of livestream production on game days.


Graphic Design:
  • Design schedule posters, game day promotion graphics and other items as requested by the external operations department.
  • Produce creative content for social media, recruiting, ticket sales, in-game promotions.


Photography:
  • Manage all the photography needs of the department as it relates to staff headshots, team headshots, team photos, branding photos, game day photography.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training and management of gameday camera and photography staff.


Other:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree by date of hire.
  • Experience working within Intercollegiate athletics or related.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, and travel as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to produce promotional copy and content for social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of video production
