The University of Puget Sound seeks a Recruitment Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources (HR) team.
As a critical member of the Human Resources (HR) team, the Recruitment Coordinator contributes to the development and implementation of highly effective, integrated human resources in support of the mission and goals of the university. The Recruitment Coordinator represents the university professionally with staff, faculty, retirees, colleagues, vendors, students, and the public.
This is a unique position for someone looking to get some great experience in the Human Resources field. This position works closely with many areas of HR, including, but not limited to, benefits, compensation, payroll and HRIS. The Recruitment Coordinator coordinates the recruitment and employment program in support of the university's strategic goals and key objectives. Assists in planning and developing recruitment and employment programs, procedures, policies, services, goals and objectives. Evaluates program and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Associate's degree plus one year of human resources experience
to include employment-related duties and responsibilities. An
equivalent combination of education and related experience to
perform the essential functions of the job may be
- Must demonstrate a strong customer service orientation,
outstanding communication skills, and have the ability to organize,
analyze, prioritize, and problem-solve within a fast-paced office
environment with frequent interruptions
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate efficiently and remain calm under
- Ability to handle changing priorities
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Ability to respectfully work, communicate and provide
leadership within a diverse campus community
