  *Have 2 years of clinical practical experience as occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant; preferred 5 years

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Preference will be given to individuals who possess:

Qualifying fields: Occupational Therapy
Pediatric and mental health experience.

Brief Description of Duties:

Full-Time Faculty position responsible for managing clinical education for the program and provide classroom instruction (duties to include: travel to fieldwork sites, student advisement, committee work, community representation, and others).

Specific Experience Required:

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning with at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the field of instruction (Occupational Therapy) or 5 years of experience, and either a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license.

• Two years of teaching experience using interactive teaching techniques

Preferred Areas of Expertise:

• Master’s degree

• Teaching experience including professional development

• Clinical education experience

• Five (5) years’ experience as OTR / OTA preferably in rehab/ortho/neuro

• Experience working with/supervising OTA’s

• Experience with assessment of student learning

• Experience with accreditation standards/ accrediting bodies
