Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Physiology

Responsibilities:

The Division of Biology at Alfred University invites applications for a one year visiting instructor/assistant professor beginning August 2021. We seek candidates with a background in anatomy and physiology who would be able to teach Human A&P and Physiology of Aging courses for allied health majors, and upper division Human Anatomy and Physiology with lab for Biology majors. A faculty member in this position would be expected to carry a full load of 12 to 15 contact hours per semester. There is modest support for both scholarship and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications include a MA/MS in biology or a closely related field, with preference given to those with a Ph.D. and undergraduate teaching experience. When available, the candidate is encouraged to provide evidence of excellence in teaching in the form of course evaluations (where available), a teaching portfolio, or letters of support.
